Our lovely little town has it's annual Food Festival in a couple of weeks, so to celebrate I have been making some fancy fruit-themed jewellery!
And Apple charm bracelets! Things got a bit out of hand on the apple front.
But I also made some Strawberry brooches, and they have engraved seeds! Lots of good foody stuff finished and ready to be a permanent reminder of what I'm sure will be a lovely weekend!

As promised, some photographs of my new brooches!
These brooches are made from "scraps" of fabrics from some of my personal projects! They are the absolute last of each style of fabric from my stash - I'm trying not to be precious and hoard little bits of odds and ends so this is the perfect solution, since I think it's quite a good way to make sure that all of the gorgeous fabric is appreciated! I'm planning to make a batch of these brooches every time I build up a collection of scraps, so there is bound to be more soon!
The new style of brooches has also made it's way into my gemmipop vintage range! These brooches have got vintage embroidered linen (which is leftover from larger pieces of fabric that I've used for birds and cushions) framed by fabulous opal acrylic - it reminds me of Pyrex! There are only three in each style...
and I think that they are rather beautiful!
They are packaged up and ready to go on sale in my stall, I hope that they all find lovely homes!

Lots of new goodies in my stall this week!
One of a kind gemmipop vintage bird with red flower embroidery
Retro cushion with fancy florals
and a new range of birds - I am going to make a whole range of birds based on actual birds, these ones are Bluetits, and I have big plans for the next batch!
I am also working some new brooches, I'll share some details tomorrow - these ones are a little bit special!

I really have been busy over the last couple of days!
This cushion has a very sweet little bluebird embroidered on it, I thinks it's precious!
These ones have mountain scenes with trees and flowers, with chintz floral quilting fabric on the back
More rose cushions, two with Laura Ashley samples - the one at the front is called "Salon" and has a wood type effect, and the one on the far left is called "Tulips". The other two are quilting fabric
And a tiny cushion with blue daisies and pink patterned floral fabric on the back.
They are all in my stall now, and it's starting to look jolly full in there! As always, I'm happy to reserve anything that may take your fancy, just leave me a comment!

Large Embroidered Rose Cushion with vintage fabric on the back
They are on sale in my stall tomorrow, but as always I am happy to reserve and post!
More new birds, this time part of my gemmipop vintage range, all made from vintage embroidered linen!
All from the same fabric, two that match and one slightly different!
They are also in my stall from tomorrow!
I've been a busy bee this week!
I just love them! They will be on sale in my stall tomorrow but I am happy to post them if there's one that catches your eye!

Last week was a tough week. I don't want to go into specifics, it was a week I want to forget, and the way I'm trying to do that is by taking a few moments throughout my day to enjoy the small things...
This was my car-boot sale haul yesterday - lots of beautiful embroidered linens for my gemmipop vintage range, and a very sweet floral glass plate which was a bargainous 50p!
Today I have been making some more fabric brooches - these ones will be in tribute to my love of tea.
And as part of my stall makeover I have hung up some oversized versions of my necklaces - Glasses on the left and Budgie on the right. They make for a pretty fancy display! This week is already off to a much better start, keeping my chin up and my fingers crossed.
